The Seller lists a pattern for sale via their Collectible Patterns store
Sign up as a vendor, list your pattern, add some photo’s and a description and set your price.

Buyer buys a pattern
The Buyer finds a pattern they love, picks a delivery method and safely completes their purchase

Collectible Patterns holds their payment securely
The Buyer’s money is transferred to Collectible Patterns’ account and held safely until the pattern reaches the Buyer

Seller ships the pattern
The Seller ships the pattern to the Buyer using the chosen delivery method
5.
Buyer receives the pattern
Once the pattern reaches the Buyer they need to rate the Seller on Collectible Patterns site in order for the purchase to be completed
6.
Seller receives payment
The order is completed and the funds are released to the Collectible Pattern’s Sellers wallet so they can receive a payout at a scheduled date, usually on the 26th day of a month.

Wish to purchase multiple patterns from the same seller? Collectible Patterns bundling system allows paying for delivery once (for the first item) and enjoying Free delivery for the same store for all the items that follow (same time purchase).

Collectible Patterns is a website for selling and buying local (South Africa) and International patterns. Sellers can list their dress patterns, crochet, knitting patterns and embroidery patterns for free, or shop for patterns safely and conveniently. Sellers can also provide (and charge for) video courses on sewing hacks, how-to’s for various crafts etc. and share their skills and knowledge with the community. Sellers can also sell their excess fabric, haberdashery, wool and crafts.
Collectible Patterns uses the escrow model to handle payments which means that the money is first deposited into Collectible Pattern’s account, and only released to the Seller once the Buyer has confirmed receiving the pattern/s on Collectible Patterns by rating the Seller for the pattern/s sold. If the Seller doesn’t send out the pattern/s, the Buyer will be refunded in full.
In order to offer the best service possible, a commission of 20% is charged for every successful sale (including shipping) + 5% transaction processing fee. Opening a store and adding items is completely free, meaning that the commission will only be applied when your item has passed checkout.
Collectible Patterns has multiple integrated courier options that deliver nationwide (South Africa) and Internationally. It is up to the Seller to decide which delivery method/s they would like to enable for their store. The delivery cost will be paid extra at checkout by the Buyer.
